      I think that the audience that this is meant for is kind of just herself as I assume that she is just keeping record of her travels.

      I think that this is significant because we are able to know what they used as currency in the 1700s instead of just using money as currency.

      Why are such young children doing target practice? Is there some type of war going on right now, with the Native Americans?

      I think that we need to consider the perspectives of the Native Americans and what they have been through. Are they really savages?
