Look at Google/ Wikepedia as a way to get a big picture of your reserach. Rather than using them as an actual citation

Wiki may not always be accurate, due to it being an open source. Therefore, shall be never used as an actual source.

Should we always use Google/ Wikipedia as a starter when conducting research then move on to actual research? Or, can you start your reserach with the library then refer to wikepedia and google as an outline?
