    1. Even when women are the focus of design, their actual needs are still sometimes ignored

This point makes me shake my head. The idea that those who are not female have the power to make these designs and decisions without the help of women is ridiculous. How can someone truly know what's best for a woman without actually working with, or even just talking to a woman?

    2. scaled-down male dummies

This point in the podcast was so shocking to me as I had no idea this was how the 'female' dummies were created. How often are smaller versions of the male used to represent the female?

    3. fewer women overall seek medical help

From a personal experience, I found that certain relatives of mine do this when they are experiencing medical problems, but for a different reason that is still entirely problematic. My grandmother refuses to go to the hospital, even when facing serious medical problems, because she doesn't want to 'be a burden'. This is something that my male relatives have never voiced concern over.

    4. It was seen as a neutral and obvious choice — a default strategy

This makes me really curious about how many other things in this world we see as being neutral when they really are not. As well, what exactly is the definition of neutral in this sense? I'm interested in if that definition itself is default male.
