panthers: why is the term (of endearment) "darling" repeated in this stanza? we see repetition in many different places in this poem. why does the speaker address who they're speaking to with a term of endearment? what impact does this have on what they're saying?

panthers: this made me think of today's lecture, specifically the idea of perspective and how our place in life (how we've been raised, the people around us, etc) impact our perspective, and thoughts on others.
