    1. Together, they planned that there should be a sun, a moon, and day and night. They decided to keep the other Coyote, First Angry, away from their planning, because it was he who had brought unhappiness.

I find it interesting that the Coyote is a bad symbol even though they have Great Coyote-Who-Was-Formed-In-The-Water. I find it funny that they finally admit here that First Angry is their main source of problems here though.

    2. They asked Turquoise Boy if he would become the sun, and they asked White Shell Girl if she would become the moon.

They claimed that Turquoise Boy and White Shell Girl were both born gender-less but they still refer to them as boy and girl. In a way they gave gender to the sun and moon.

    1. “‘With me there is beauty (shil hózhó); ‘in me there is beauty’ (shii’ hózhó); ‘from me beauty radiates’ (shits’ aa d oo hózhó).”

In cultures there are a lot of different traditions. I find it extremely unique that Navajo sing this song because they believe it will help what they are weaving come out even more beautiful.

    2. “Beauty” and “harmony” refer to how one lives in relation to the environment, but these forms of hózhó also apply to the crafts and products that the Navajo make.

I find it interesting that a lot of the keywords they used can be applied to many different things. It's a reminder that we need harmony in all of our aspects of life.
