The bane of page length requirements

I think this is a great way to stress the idea of communicating clearly and understanding the proper definition of words that you use. People argue about things that they give the same name but are completely different.

When is technical vocabulary useful and when is it harmful to clarity? It is necessary to have and in a new field you might be pioneering the vocabulary. How do you balance this?

I find it so interesting that this does seem "off". I understand whaat it is saying but I feel like it implies that time is the dependent variable which is not common.

Anyone who had no idea what genera was would be thoroughly confused by titles like this.

I like this sentiment. Often we treat principles like precious gems when I feel like the Lord would be more pleased if we were to use them like everyday tools.

I sometimes feel the need to find all of my mistakes in my first revision. Getting it into my head that I have unlimited revisions would be good.

I remember this being a part of the writing we had to do for our lab classes. Some of our writing had different audiences than others and sometimes it was the audience not the subject that made the writing more difficult.
