Few things: The clinical correlation between high EGFL7 expression and reduced patient survival narrowly misses traditional statistical significance (p = 0.074). Explicitly discussing this statistical limitation in the text and validating the trend across additional public cohorts, such as the CGGA, would significantly strengthen your findings. Additionally, your data beautifully illustrates how EGFL7 expression correlates with local zones of T cell exclusion within the tumor core. However, the study leaves open which specific cell types, whether endothelial cells, microglia, or glioma cells, are the primary secretors of EGFL7 driving this local barrier. I believe it would be very intresting and novel to see that.
