    1. addressing misbehavior usually involves looking for patterns. What happens before and after the behavior? Who is the audience? When does it happen?

      This adds on to my other annotation about figuring out the root of the behavior. Getting to know our students is a crucial part of building a functioning classroom environment. We need to know how they work best and what works best for them. Once we understand our students "normal," we can begin to notice changes in their behavior patterns.

      A lot of time's when a student acts out in class or in school, we need to stop and discuss some possible causes for the students behavior. Even if a student is just misbehaving to misbehave, they still have a reason for their behavior. We can't address their behavior until the root of their behavior is found.
