    1. Be open-minded toward others’ ideas and understanding of their backgrounds

We need to learn this and teach this more to others because we are not all the same we do bleed and breath the same but we all come from different backgrounds and and are brought up differently, love differently we are all humans but we aren't the same people. I'm middle eastern and I wore the hijab when I was younger I was bullied for it because I simply didn't show my hair and that bothered certain people because they weren't taught that it's okay if someone looks a little different that It's not bad or wrong we need to accept one another if it does not harm you or anyone else different is beautiful it's what makes the world go round

    2. Listen attentively and intently (with intention to understand) first, and forming an opinion after you fully understand their point of view

Many people jump or judge before fully understanding someone's intentions or actions. We see a lot of "cancel culture" on Twitter and other social media platforms with artists, actors, speakers, and social media influencers themselves being canceled due to something that could potentially be a rumor or a lie. Sometimes it's used properly but you never know someone's full intentions or reasons for their actions from just a screen sometimes It ruins their reputation or even life so I definitely agree with the saying don't judge a book by its cover or in this sense on what you heard.

    3. The principle of compassion lies at the heart of all religious, ethical, and spiritual traditions, calling us always to treat all others as we wish to be treated ourselves. Compassion impels us to work tirelessly to alleviate the suffering of our fellow creatures, to dethrone ourselves from the center of our world and put another there, and to honor the inviolable sanctity of every single human being, treating everybody, without exception, with absolute justice, equity, and respect.

The principle of compassion means the truth of sympathy, It is the basic understanding of human decency and goes with the saying treat people the way you want to be treated. In this day and age from what I've seen and encountered growing up, humans lack compassion It's definitely seen and broadcasted all over the world with racism, sexisms', misogyny and so much more which is absolutely heartbreaking because we all have one thing in common and that is to survive and in all religions, it says to show compassion to everyone no matter your race, who you love or where you're from. In Islam, we show it through feeding you, giving you clothe and a place to stay, and what I've learned Is you get what you give simple as that.
