    1. 1. Lift the back panel in place and install all 2mm hex head screws. There are 23 screws used to hold the panel.

      It may be helpful to take an interior shot from the front of the instrument, to show how the airflow housing has to line up with the interior upper fans.

    1. Verify the temperature stability and accuracy of all wells (1 through 8). Do this by inserting the thermal probe into each well.

      Here is the temp verification procedure from WI-00068 rev. 3.

      7.11.4.95C Incubator Temperature Verification

      7.11.4.1. In the Service UI, under Slave Modules, select 95C Incubator and click Connect.

      7.11.4.2. Under Temperature Status for Bank 1, confirm that At Target reads True for Ring and Well.

      7.11.4.3. Insert metal thermometer probe into Well #1 (see diagram above for well locations). Allow probe temperature to stabilize for approximately 3 minutes and confirm the well is within the acceptable temperature range.

      7.11.4.4. Repeat for Wells #3 and #8, leaving the probe out of the well for 1 minute before placing in a new well. When complete, close the module window.

      Are you mentioning about removing drawers to perform the cleaning? In the past, I have removed drawers from high activity accounts to clean the drawer system

      Would it be possible to have a high-usage instrument addendum to provide guidance on how to perform extra steps?

    4. Locate all supplies that may have been shipped directly to the customer site. Especially the following testing supplies:

      Add for "Apply "Service Use Only Not For Patient Testing" stickers to each box of service supplies.

    5. Soak a synthetic wipe with IPA and clear all surfaces of bleach. Use a synthetic swab soaked in IPA to clear bleach out of any wells or hard to reach areas in the tool. Use multiple soaked swabs for each tool.

      I would remind the reader to wipe the surfaces in a unidirectional fashion.
