      Personifying a person and a sun passing. This poem is most likely talking about death, both a sun and person passes.

      In this poem, she is showing that she has accepted death and will not be scared when the time comes.

      This could possibly be a foreshadow to show that something may happen or the paw will be there watching as he get's his money, it's something bad that will stay with him until he gets rid of the paw

      The solider is trying to warn them that the paw will bring no good so they should just throw it into the fire and be smart

      Davy stoned his mom, even though it was his mom. This shows that they follow this ritual blindlessly and they don't care what happens.

      This verse can be a foreshadow of what they're going to talk about in this song. will.i.am asks his Mother what's wrong with the world. In this song they're going to talk about the many things that are happening in the world.

      This verse is a simile. This compares two things. BEP compares negative images to bacteria. Bacteria is defined as ¨a member of a large group of unicellular microorganisms that have cell walls but lack organelles and an organized nucleus, including some that can cause disease.¨ They are implying it can fill the minds of young children and make them hate.

      This whole is conflict. It is Man vs. Societyconflict. This song explains the many things that are going on in the world such as, terrorism, racism and gangs. This is a society problem because it affects everyone. Many people think things that are regular to others, are not the "norms" for them.

      She uses a metaphor, because she didn't actually wake up the lions. Lions could be the people who want to make a change because of the things that are happening around, so they're "waking up". In the Music Video Katy wakes up and sees what is happening

    1. The number of opioid prescriptions has finally started to decline. After peaking at 81.7 million in 2014, the figure dropped to 80.2 million in 2015. The drop is even more pronounced when you consider that enrollment in Medicare's prescription drug program continued to grow during that time. The number of antibiotics dispensed kept going up, to 57.3 million in 2015, from 54.2 million in 2014 and 52.4 million in 2013. The average cost per prescription continues to increase, to $94.84 in 2015 from $85.82 in 2014 and $75.73 in 2013. However, those figures do not include confidential rebates the government receives from drug manufacturers.

      I have found all of these facts interesting, I didn't know that we were the lowest in the US that distributed opioids.

    2. Critics have faulted the use of antipsychotics in the elderly, particularly those with dementia, as a means of chemically restraining them

      I think that patients or elderly's with dementia shouldn't use medications to try and restrain them.

    3. People in Hawaii appear to be much less likely to overuse problematic prescription drugs, including opioid pain medications and antibiotics, than are people on the mainland United States.

      Painkillers and opioids are still a huge problem in Hawai'i. Many people overdose on drugs.
