Do not look back.
there are multiple reasons i can think of for including this line. My interpretation is that, while you should cherish your experiences, its important that you don't attach yourself to the place you have been.

This line caught my attention. in some ways it annoys me a little due to the idea that you need to speak differently specifically for teenagers, something that I have experienced and dislike. However, the specific thought that went into this exchange isn't lost on me, and so I appreciate it.
