beautiful
Here we see how important the clay and making vases is to Sly, and he wants to know when he could get it back.

clay
Here we see that Vern connects with Sly, and that Sly is very smart but still too much of an animal to live among humans. We also see that the name "evil robot monkey" was given by the teacher.
head
Hear we see that Sly didn't want the kids there and the lady named Delilah let the kids in because the other chimps didn't mind. Sly is also aware that he is not like the other chimps. He talked about the implant in his head, so I'm thinking that that it helps him think of focus
Vern signed to Sly and asked if he was okay, so we now know that sly knows sign language. We do not know who Vern is yet, but possibly his caretaker.
metal
Metal in his skull gives the idea of where the "robot" part of him is. Maybe he has a chip in his head or something like that?
grabbed himsel
Now, we see the slight evil side of Sly as he motions to the student's teacher what he would do to her if she came into his pen. Obviously it was bad because of the they the teacher reacted in fear as she hurried away.
knowing
In this paragraph we see that Sly is smart and he can interpret the actions of humans and understand sarcasm. He is clever enough to take their sarcasm and know that they will interpret him being mean back as just a smile or a grin. He is also clever by writing SSA, which he knew that the letter would be reversed and the children would read it that way. They would read ASS which is profanity calling the kids a disrespectful name for making fun of him. Sly is clever enough to retaliate without them knowing he is doing it on purpose.
screamed
Here, we notice that sly either scares easily or does not like to be interrupted while working or focusing. He stills has the typical, monkey throwing feces type action even though in this case it the the vase instead of his actual feces.
spinningithigher
So now we know the Sly is the monkeys name and that he is making pottery with clay, and the clay on his hands makes them look like a human hand. He is smart and capable of spinning a potters wheel and shaping the vase. We can tell he is smart because he is creating and shaping a vase out of clay.
Robinette
This is a story of science fiction by Mary Robinette Kowal. She is an American Author, puppeteer, and voice actor. Her story, "Evil Robot Monkey" was published in 2008 and was nominated for the Hugo Award for best Short Story.
EvilRobotMonkeyby
Also, the picture does not look like he is evil at all. He looks rather innocent and quite shy. You can tell that he is kinda smart or at least appears to be because it looks like he is doing some sort of pottery or sculpting a vase or a pot.
EvilRobotMonkeyby
The title interests me because the title is "Evil Robot Monkey". However the monkey in the image does not look evil at all, and he does not look like a robot either. I'm not yet sure how he is evil, but it is still the start of the story.
