      its power and guidance early man could not have mastered his practicaldifficulties as he has done, nor could man have advanced to the higher stages ofcivilization

      I believe from this whole article this part is the most important. I believe that as more than most of the rituals and medicines provided were extremely unwarranted, without them taking these crazy measures back then were would we be today in our medicine and healing Journey. Without the craziness of the past there would be no stability in our present and future.

      I feel as if when it comes to the charm box and what's inside that's supposed to heal or help the individual almost take form of God.
