    1. It became their obvious intention to kiss the ceiling. They kissed it. And then, neutraling gravity with love and pure will, they remained suspended in air inches below the ceiling, and they kissed each other for a long, long time. It was then that Diana Moon Glampers, the Handicapper General, came into the studio with a double-barreled ten-gauge shotgun. She fired twice, and the Emperor and the Empress were dead before they hit the floor.

      Theme: Competition is good actually and the attempt to make everything "fair" could potentially stifle innovation. (I don't agree with the theme, but that is the theme)

      Open response: This is super condescending and kind of makes me feel like this story is going to start getting eugenics-y (what can I say but YIKES)

      Language: I like the use of the words "glimmeringly" and "twenty-one gun salute"

    4. He was required by law to wear it at all times. It was tuned to a government transmitter.

      Open response: Why did they have to take Harrison away if they could have just given them a handicap transmitter?
