    1. filled with the intent

      The visual imagery of "filled" ironically connotes the emptiness that the speaker feels, regarding how the things around him strongly seem as if they want to be lost from him. I feel sad for the speaker as he has to constantly deal with loss as I likewise reflect on the theme of emptiness, and learn that it can be a very torturous feeling to endure, despite it being invisible to others

      The sarcastic tone of "art of losing" connotes the speaker's frustration with encountering losses in his life. This makes me pity the speaker as he laments on the many losses in his life, which made him feel as though it was an 'art' he was practicing. Therefore, I can reflect on the theme of loss and learn that there is no perfect road in life where one does not encounter loss but that we should learn from our losses and produce something out of it
