    5. This course has no points! Instead of following a traditional point system, you will have the opportunity to submit your best work, and if you need to revise the assignment, you may do so by resubmitting your assignment up to 3 days after I grade it. Once your assignment is passing, you will receive a “Check Mark” in Canvas which means the assignment will count toward your Grade Goal. Any assignment that is revised within the 3-day window will NOT be considered late.

This is important to me because i had trouble downloading hypothesis so this gives me hope on getting points for this assignment.

I think this is very important because it can help me in the future to get ahead on assignments or also even plan on working on assignments while I'm also going to work.

    7. all assignments have a three-day grace period. This means you can still turn in your assignment up to three days late with no penalty

I will check back on this becuase it is a list of assignments we will be doing over the next couple of days and also very important materials needed to read over.

    1. Almost all good writing begins with terrible first efforts. You need to startsomewhere. Start by getting something -- anything -- down on paper. A friend ofmine says that the first draft is the down draft -- you just get it down. The seconddraft is the up draft -- you fix it up. You try to say what you have to say moreaccurately. And the third draft is the dental draft, where you check every tooth, tosee if it's loose or cramped or decayed, or even, God help us, healthy

I like this example of how the author described it. I liked this analogy and will try to use it in my writings.

    2. Then I'd stop, remember to breathe, make a few phone calls, hit the kitchen and chow down.Eventually I'd go back and sit down at my desk, and sigh for the next ten minutes. Finally I would pick up my one-inch picture frame, stare into it as if for the answer, and every time the answer would come

I do this too. I procrastinate alot thinking I will be better at writing later but in reality I have to sit down and just do it.

    3. No one is going to see it. If the kid wants toget into really sentimental, weepy, emotional territory, you let him

I like this sentence becuase its showing off that everything doesn't have to perfect,

    4. In fact, theonly way I can get anything written at all is to write really, really shitty first drafts

I relate to this becuase i do the same thing I just have to jump into the assignment after i read the instructions rather then overthink and try to make perfect sentences.

    5. This is how they end up with goodsecond drafts and terrific third drafts

I can relate to this because each time I revise my essays each time I go over them they get better each time.
