    1. It’s not just that you completed a degree; it is how you earned your degree and the cumulative effects of your education that matter.

      I am hoping for a Masters in social work. I am going to become a therapist for children in non-nuclear families.

      This class will help me grow my credits so i am one step closer to a degree.

    2. What I am suggesting is that you primarily focus on who you are becoming as a learner—in all aspects of your education. Focusing solely on professional skills is shortsighted and actually works against your own best interests because it causes you to overlook the learning that stays with you the longest.

      Applying this theory to my everyday learning style is what i hope to get out of this class. College so far has been a very enjoyable experience!
