    1. okay so here is a thread of kdramas that i've watched/love that no one asked for:)

I created this thread that focused on my thoughts on several Korean dramas that I have watched. I did this as it was a way to relate to my followers and also show them that I genuinely am interested in Korean dramas. On that note, I think this could work as an ethical appeal as it proves that I know what I am talking about when I am tweeting. It just adds a sense of credibility as it shows that I am not just speaking on something that I don't actually know anything about. Example below.

    2. i honestly don't think that they should have even bothered with making Save Me 2. i was expecting it to further the story on the dad or on the new church but it was just the same show all over again which was really annoying cuz they made it seem like it was a second season smh

I made this tweet because I think it was really important to acknowledge the fact that this Twitter community does not just focus positive ideas. I thought it was a lot of just talking about how much they loved certain Korean dramas, Korean actors/actresses, etc. but that was not the case. I saw a lot of people expressing their frustrations, making arguments against certain aspects of both the dramas and the community that they are a part of. So, I wanted to add my own take and make an argument of sorts. This may be a logical appeal but I was not entirely sure, I did not add it with the intent of it being a logical appeal but I think it may have worked out that way (or maybe not). An example of an argument being made is linked below.

    3. CW: True Beauty, KDramas, and the occasional mention of anime and kpop

I noticed that on several Korean drama "stan" pages, they would put what I discovered were content warnings. They would put these in their page's bio so that those who considered following them would know what to expect. It is also so possible followers know to expect spoilers if there is a content warning for a specific Korean drama. I also noticed that many Korean drama stan accounts would not stick solely to talking about Kdramas as they would talk about other relevant topics such as anime or Korean pop music as well and that would be included in the content warning. Example below of a community member putting a content warning in their bio.

I know the assignment said to make 3-5 annotations but I also wanted to note the language and style of writing that I used. In several instances I added an LOL, an extra comma (,,), a keyboard smash (what was highlighted for this annotation), etc. All tweets are also typed in lowercase as these were all common practices in this community. Examples below.

    5. woke up to see i have new moots omg hi friends<3

I wrote this the morning after I had gained a few followers. It was something that I had noticed several other accounts do as well when they got new followers with mutual interests or "moots." I also added the GIF which was another common thing to do on Korean drama stan twitter (either that or a reaction image). I think the GIF also works as a pathetic appeal. The man in the GIF is a well-known Korean drama actor and the signs he put up are little hearts (something common in Korean dramas). Therefore, I think it adds an emotional/friendly type of appeal. I included an example of this below.

    6. hii:) i'm totally new to stan twitter but i really want some moots on kdrama twt like/rt/reply so we can be friends<3

This was my first tweet as I noticed that a lot of accounts did this. They would either make this their first tweet or they would tweet this later in their Twitter journey as a way to find mutuals or "moots" so that they could interact with one another. I made this tweet and I also liked and retweeted a few tweets from other accounts that were similar. Liking and retweeting are both major parts of not just this Twitter community but it is something that almost everyone on Twitter does so I made sure to add that to my contribution. It was also a good way to connect with others and add a pathetic type of appeal as I showed support for their content. I included an example of this below.

    1. If you have any questions, concerns or are unsure if you should go to the hospital, just go :) we are happy to check you out and will tell you if you don’t need medical attention. It’s better to be safe than sorry. These tips (as I said in the beginning) are for MILD symptoms.

I think this is an emotional appeal because it sort of puts people at ease. Shows them that doctors are there for you and they will be happy to help. The ":)" also adds an emotional aspect that makes us once again feel like we can trust her.

    2. from an ICU nurse

This would be considered an ethical appeal because it shows us that she is credible, experienced, and someone that we can trust to guide us on this topic.

    3. First, purchase a pulse oximeter online or from your local drug store. There are several trustworthy brands for under $15 on Amazon. Monitor your oxygen saturations every few hours, and if they drop below 87% and stay there... it’s time to go to the hospital.

I think this is a good example of a logical appeal as it appeals to the mind. It is specific and it appeals to the mind when she uses the percentage as it gives you sort of a "fact" that tells you when to go to the hospital. It is specific in the sense that it does not just say "when you are feeling bad, go to the hospital," it tells you when it is logical for you to go from an educated perspective.

    1. This is the first website people see when they look at York so it was smart to put the "Latest News" section which is basically a "look at how cool York is, come join us" section.
