    1. We must slow the pace at which we improve the capabilities of AI models. Progress will still seem fast, and we must make wise use of the time we gain.

      I look at this through the lens of common good. They are concerned with keeping risk prevention in line with advancement. Were they operating in an unethical way, and not concerned about the common good and only their profit share, they would advance as rapidly as possible to keep their product the best on the market. Instead, they are demonstrating a concern with keeping the risks mitigated, which to me shows concern for the common good.

      I consider it common good rather than utilitarian because they are concerned for the shared interests of everyone. It's a wider scope, as "Framework for Ethical Decision Making" notes.
