      great point! We never see her full body so we are left wondering and that holds our focus making it easier to identify with Ben and his gaze.

    1. An essay is good if it has sprung from necessity

      If someone has a personal need to write about something then their passion for the topic will hopefully shine through and make it a great essay. Saying "an essay is good if it has sprung from necessity".. is just not true in my opinion. I might need to write about pollen in Australia for a class. If i am not passionate about pollen my essay probably won't be that great.

      This sentence really resonated with me! I am often surprised at what I say when I am not censoring myself. It shows me what I really feel about something, whether I am conscious of it or not.

      I agree that when cameras are on in an online classroom that it makes it feel more like a community. Community offers comfort and a feeling of belonging, which I believe makes it easier to share your thoughts.
