      At this point in time, the question shouldn't be "is climate change real?" The question should be "What can we do to reduce climate change to make our world more livable and eco-friendly?"

      I will never forget the moment when I moved from Chicago to South Carolina, and witnessing these beach houses for the first time. At first I thought they were strange and somewhat ugly, but as I aged I understood it was to prevent major loss during flooding. Considering that the legs of these houses will only be growing, I think it is very important to start enacting change within our environments globally so that the lasting effects of climate change will be more sustainable and less damaging.

      Considering the massive amount of flooding that already occurs with just an extra foot over a one hundred year time period, I can't even begin to imagine the disasters that would come along with an additional five feet by the next century. It's scary to think that within my lifetime the water will rise to a height that's taller than me.
