    1. antiracist

I think anti-racism education is very important. Babies notice differences in people's bodies, including skin color, as early as 6 months of age. Studies show that by age 5, children show signs of racial prejudice, such as being nicer to people in one racial group than to people in another. Ignoring or avoiding the topic is not protecting children, it is exposing them to the prejudices that exist in every corner of our lives. I believe that with the efforts of all parties, we will be able to provide students of different cultural backgrounds and colors with a fair educational opportunity, so that they can truly learn and grow in happiness

My parents always buy me different kind of books.I have never realized how precious these books when I go to the countryside as a volunteer. I saw how old the books are there and they have t read the same book over and over again because there’s no access for them to buy new books

    3. ng men may have shaped their fates. Alexander lived in the suburbs while Anthony lived in the city center. Most of Alexander's suburban neighbors lived in families with incomes above the $125,000 that now sep-arates the richest 20 percent of children from the rest. Anthony Mears's school served pupils from families whose incomes were near or below the $27,000 threshold separating the bottom 20 percent (see figure 2.4)

This example makes me feel sorry and sad.two young man have totally different developments due to their different family backgrounds. This seems to be cruel, however it’s just reality. People from privileged don’t need to suffer from the hardness of surviving. All they need to do is to focus on their education. However, people from less privileged family are too busy to pay same amount of attention because they got too much to worry about.
