    1. Vivid, concrete language

      diction is really important here

    2. can omit for some papers).

I don't think I've ever done a background paragraph before.. this will be interesting!

    1. Detail/example/etc.

This is really simple unlike the first one but at the same time it gets the point across and would be easy to follow while writing my essay

    1. ome arguments propose solutions or make prediction on the future of the topic.

I like this because it's not something you have to do but it proves you're actually interested in what you're talking about, enough to foresee maybe where that topic will be in 5 years.

    2. Any well-written argument must anticipate and address positions in opposition to the one being argued.

This is especially important for me to remember and I'm glad the reminder was in this outline.

    1. Are the earnings from such YouTube channels enough to sustain young professionals, especially those not in popular entertainment genres like music and comedy?

I don't like the tone of this article, if it scares you so much that people are wasting their talents on youtube don't worry about them! And if money's a problem, I'm sure these influencers can find a job on the side to help support them.

    2. giving up their career goals

I don't agree. You're not "giving up" anything if you're doing what you love

    3. As his channel hit a million views, Allahbadia put his startup project on the back burner and concentrated on his YouTube channel.

    1. 35 per month

See I had no idea about this. And I love youtube. If they actually want to make money from stuff like youtube red or youtube tv they need to promote it more. I know they give free 1 month trials of youtube red which is smart.

    3. YouTube TV will give you access to live TV from more than 40 providers

I think most people watch youtube for free so this isn't even the part of the app that makes them the most money

    4. Just a few short years ago, there was a dearth of quality television streaming options for people desperate to cut the cord. If you wanted to watch live TV in any way, shape, or form, you needed to splash out on a costly cable subscription. Which was frustrating.

I feel like at this point everyone takes the internet and youtube for granted

    1. 1 billion videos a day but remains unprofitable.

I'm surprised it wasn't profiting after 4 years. It shows a lot that they kept trying even after 4 years, and it was well worth it.

    2. 131 million — plus views.

Now though theres definitely a video with more views- I think it might be despacito by justin bieber

    3. “Me at the Zoo” — 19 seconds of Karim in front of the elephants at the San Diego Zoo — is the first video posted to the site.

I've never actually watched this but it's mentioned in multiple youtube videos, because it's the first video ever posted to the site. I think it's important for an app like this to remember ,milestones like this, and it just proves that this app can thrive.

This is such a heartfelt sad line which he uses to explain the pain he felt at the massive loss.
