vim
2023 definition: energy; enthusiasm

vim is rarely ever seen outside of the context of the phrase "vim and vigor" and seems to be a calcified word within this phrase.

      vigor
2023 definition: physical strength and good health

    2. "in his youth he was full of vim and vigor"
