    2. Nine patients were diagnosed with pheochromocytoma. Lumbal spinal hemangioblastoma and pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor without pheochromocytoma were detected in one patient. In patients with pheochromocytoma, additional tumors, such as retinal angioma, renal cell carcinoma, pancreatic serous cystadenoma, and pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors were detected. All patients were diagnosed as VHL syndrome type 2B.

    1. A149S (34)

301 were enrolled in a prospective clinical protocol to evaluate the natural history of vHL-associated pancreatic lesions (NCT00062166). Of these, 69 patients with pancreatic manifestations of vHL disease and missense VHL mutations were included in the current study. Individual patient phenotype was not described, but overall of the 60 patients, 57 had RCC, 41 had CNS hemangioblastomas, 28 had retinal hemangioblastoma, 23 had pheochromocytoma. 36/69 patients were female and the mean age was 50.5 years old.All patients underwent genetic testing using Sanger sequencing and Southern Blotting. Four patients were listed with this missense mutation, c.445G>T.
