I think that’s something I’m always trying to explore and explicate in terms of thinking the boundaries of form, whether it’s academic writing or poetry or other kinds of writing or expression and yeah, the similarities or the transgressions that must happen in between the two to begin to imagine other worlds.
Hot Take: Academic writing has taken on a gatekeeping quality recently. Bafflegab abounds. The jargon lends itself not to precision and clarity, but obfuscation.
