IDSA announces near release of the data space protocol. Tested it with TNO's connector a good while ago.

Successful tests have already been completed by both the Eclipse Dataspace Connector (EDC) and the TNO-developed connector, demonstrating that multiple independent implementations can interoperate effectively.
TNO connector I've played with, but wasn't convinced yet, as it assumes extremely simple 1-on-1 data transactions which will hardly ever be a real case. The control layer seems ok though.
