Quizzes can be used for any Q&A-based assessment, whether graded or formative
is it worth mentioning h5p quizzes on this page so that CDs don't get confused? can also put the additional details about use-cases here as well (i.e. use h5p for formative knowledge checks, use canvas quizzes for summative graded assignments etc)

Live training registration/recordings
it is jarring clicking on this one and being taken to a different module, as it is linked in the same way that the subsequent normal pages are linked in this heading menu. I've gotten lost a couple of times before i realised that i was being redirected away from the module i was on - same applies to the other modules that have this link here. Maybe you could even put a note somewhere just stating that this will redirect you to different module, and that you'll have to manually navigate back to this module to finish the topic

this is a really long sentence, maybe would be good to break it up for easier reading. i had to read it like 3 times to be able to parse it in my brain

to someone from a non-dev background, the term native in reference to an online platform might be unfamiliar? i might be nitpicking here haha

assessments
A lot of creative design disciplines require students to keep project journals, where they create a multimedia journal entry every week of their sketches, research, site visits, major project progress etc. A popular way that academics do this is by making each student create their own discussion thread where they reply to themselves to create every entry, and they are the only person allowed to post in that thread (since its not a conversation or debate, more of a record of their progress). It would be great to have some training materials in this section that talk about best practice for setting up this kind of thing up in discussion boards. Alternate tools like Miro could be good for creative project journals, however these discussion boards make for more accountability in consistent posting, since they time they posted on it is clearly displayed. It also stop the academic from either having a Miro account with hundreds of miro boards for each student, or for the situation where students need their own miro account - where progress would not be able to be seen by the instructor until they manually submit (which could also lead to some cheating since they could just add a whole bunch of stuff to the board the night before the due date, rather than posting every week).

the colours used to colour code this section are all very similar - I had a hard time differentiating between the shades of yellow and green - to make this more accessible, it would be better to use more contrasting and differentiated colours

Overview
just as a general comment; the lack of breadcrumbing and clarity in identifying exactly where you are in the course is suboptimal in Canvas (moodle users will be mroe familiar with the navigation side panel) - there is currently a UX subgroup being set up that will review and provide recommendations about UX/UI navigation best practice, so it could be worth implementing some of that here once the recommendations are reported

Complexity rating
i think the colour coded traffic light system is good (and necessary), however id be hesitant to highlight certain h5p types in red and say theyre hard - it might make them seem unapproachable and put academics off using them, even when its pedagogically justified

active learning and engagement
could also add a dot point about the fact that they enable the delivery and learning of materials through different modalities, rather than just spoken or written word, which can engage different types of learners, capitalise on dual-coding mechanisms, and enhance the implementation of constructivist pedagogies in a hybrid setting - these points can all be boiled down to the same thing, but i think it helps sell the inherent value of interactivity beyond just being a fun tool to entertain students.

is there any way to backwards navigate to the multistream recording page after selecting either screen or webcam, to be able to go and read whichever other page was not the first to be selected? Or do you have to go back through the main menu first

This resource uses Panopto via the Recordings link.
Maybe we should put a colour key here on the first page, so that there is a reference for the different highlighting colours?

(like Zoom),
Maybe list some consequences of using zoom, otherwise users might think that it makes no difference so they wont put the time into learning the new platform. It could be worthwhile talking about some benefits of using panopto over zoom, i.e. quality of zoom recording or something similar

Panopto
I think it would be better to create a more clear graphic here - it looks a little unintuitive and messy to have the panopto and canvas icons floated on the right and then right-aligned highlighted sentences that only roughly correspond to the same colour. I'm not sure what this is trying to communicate, but it might be better to just have a 2x2 table with the icons in one column and the descriptions in the left? So that they are visually grouped and clearly corresponding.

Course navigation
regarding navigation, it's a little bit confusing having this double-up of module links. Especially since most of the links on this page don't have the option for backwards navigation, it presents too many choices to the user without the option to abort from a pathway (see Hick's Law of UX design)

for the most part i like the conversational tone - makes this module less daunting - however I wonder if this is too informal and potentially less accessible for ESL users? Apologies if overly nit-picky!

Duplicate
This content is great - however would it be worth immediately pointing out the necessity to check course home page linking is set up and working correctly? This seems like the next problem CDs could potentially run into after duplicating a module - so might be worth addressing early

Get support
I like that you have these nav buttons down here - can we add one to click to go to the next page? It feels very unintuitive not having a right arrow/next page button to go to the next page once finishing this page - I had to remember to scroll back up to the menu at the top, which breaks the user experience

is it possible to set this to automatically open in a new tab, rather than redirecting the current page? This will improve navigation so that students don't get distracted or lost in the course.

Training Hub
Just a general comment about navigation in the training hub: I appreciate that the layout and navigation may not be a priority at this stage, as content is still under development. However, there are some issues with the UI/UX throughout - I will add a tag "#navigation" so that all my comments on navigation throughout the courses can be collated seperately to my content comments.
Navigation on this particular page is good though - highly intuitive and clearly labelled.
