    1. Syntactically, not only nouns, personal pronouns, demonstratives, or nounphrases can take the possessor or possessum slots. In addition, these slots canbe filled by verbs. Further, the possessum slot can be taken by mid-range quanti-fiers, temporal adverbs, or prepositional phrases. Finally, the possessum can beomitted.

This entire paragraph is redundant. Remove it.

    2. the night (before I go hunting)Ialreadyhave a plan

If this is a complete sentence - and it seems like it is - then both Malay and translation should have sentence punctuation. Same for other examples. If the Malay isn't a complete sentence, adjust the translation to make that clear.

    3. Possessive marking withpu‘poss

I would move this whole part of the table to table 9.3, which would group all of the punya examples together in table 9.3 and the pu examples in table 9.3. As it is right now, it's not clear why you'd split the tables up the way you have.

    4. unattested

Perhaps this is explained in another chapter, but it's confusing that you say it's unattested and then give an example (which means that it is most certainly attested). Unattested in a given corpus?

    5. elision

Earlier the term "zero morpheme" was used instead, but the terms are not interchangeable. Pick the one that fits your theory and refer to it consistently.

    6. n(hum)punyanp(inal)

Is this supposed to be on the line above, with "mama..." on the next line? Same for all examples in (5). If not, I'm not following what structure you're trying to point out here.

    7. Adnominal possessive constructions with the long possessive markerpunya‘poss’ and shortpu‘poss’ possr lig possmPossessive construction

Remove this. Introduce it in the paragraph above instead.

    8. Predicative reading ofpunya‘have’ constructions

This title/heading for the example is awkward - it just floats there above the example. Better to remove it and introduce the example in the above paragraph.

    9. with the omitted possessive marker

This is potentially ambiguous. "With omitted" could mean that it IS present. Perhaps "Possessive constructions which employ the zero morpheme signal inalienable possession..."?
