      The section is great for getting an overview of Open Access (OA), but the section does not address some of the challenges of OA integration into the scholarly publishing environment, especially where OA is viewed in context of a number of context that affect its success rate. I suggest the addition of this resources as it highlights critical areas of concern in the context of African scholarly outputs:

      Under more information about limitations and exceptions to copyright add section titled Case Studies: Case studies provide valuable information relating to the state of affairs in various countries, as well as the opposing views when debating copyright issues.

      • South Africa: a case study of politics and the global economics of limitations and exceptions to copyright. The current debate in South Africa regarding proposed amendments to the Copyright Bill allows showcases the different sides of the debate, and how legal frameworks, e.g. the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa also informs decision making.

      I suggest an additional section titled tools. These tools really helped me in gaining a better understanding of structuring attributions etc.

      The Attribution Builder is really helpful when there is uncertainty as to how to proceed with citing sources, especially as citing CC Licenses seems different from scholarly practices.

      I found the following video presentation very useful and will use this as a base to be included in our university advocacy program on CC and OERs.

      I thought this an absolutely great tool. It is helping me shape the policy for our university, and covers areas of OER development that I have not even considered yet. I believe this resource should really get a lot more prominence as a tool.

      Apart from the fact that this is another fairly easy to use and understand explanation of CC Licenses, I think it is important to consistently drive home the interdependent nature and extensive use of Creative Commons, especially in specific context, example being this link that speaks to Open Education Resources in an African context.
