    1. The Google Career Certificates Employer Consortium consists of over 150 U.S. companies like Deloitte, Infosys, Snap Inc., Target, Verizon, and of course, Google. These companies span multiple sectors and are committed to considering Google Career Certificate graduates for entry-level jobs. Upon completion of a Google Career Certificate, you will gain access to an exclusive job platform where you can easily apply to opportunities from employers with open jobs. https://grow.google/certificates/it-support/#?modal_active=none

The consortium consists of 150 companies in December, 2021. This will increase. Significant community college reaction is (wisely?) sensing an opportunity instead of a threat. They are collaborating and indications are they will benefit across multiple verticals. I'm excited to see how this plays out in 4-year spaces of Higher Ed:

      • Will HE react to a threat or an opportunity?
      • How might domains like interpersonal and intercultural skills be credentialed in a way that fosters an interoperable ecosystem between HE and industry efforts like this?
      • How will HE endeavor to consume credentials issued by non-accredited bodies?

    1. The educator’s role in self-directed learning

Fostering self-directed learning through strategy is discussed by Bailey et al. (2019) in chapter 1 of “Self-Directed Learning for the 21st Century: Implications for Higher Education.” The authors review the changing role of the educator and the learner based on respective self-directed teaching strategies (problem-based learning, cooperative learning, process-oriented learning) and the learner’s propensity for self-directed learning. In addition to providing principles to promote self-directed learning, the Grow and Borich models for implementing said learning were briefly reviewed. 8/10

    1. Many marijuana growers don’t do the math correctly, and end up with too-tall plants that grow too close to their grow lights.

you don't really have to know math to grow marijuana that is what people think and when you try to do it most of the time it will come corre. This matters to the people that are growing marijuana because they are losing there money. somehow this connect to my life because my dad used to get my sister money and my brother us to use the money for marijuana.

    2. I was never very good at math in school, but as a marijuana grower, I’ve had to get better at it.

most of the people is not able to be good in their classes because they are marijuana user was not able to focus in their classes. This matters because the kids are not getting the education they need. Like me i am not good at math but i have to get my work done.

    3. The first thing I do when I consider a room or other enclosed space for indoor growing is to measure the square feet and the cubic feet of the potential grow op.

The first thing I do when I consider a room or other enclosed space for indoor growing is to measure the square feet and the cubic feet of the potential grow op.

this matters because how are u going to have a marijuana grow room without having the right feed and cubic feet to the grow room.

this connects to me because i had seen how a grow room is.
