If you want the issue fixed as fast as possible, then you should try to help the maintainers as much as possible. Make an example app! Even if it takes extra time for you, it will ultimately lead to your issues getting fixed faster.

While these roles are very important, the ability to innovate from an “outside-in” standpoint may be even more valuable. How do we get people who experience ‘customer reaction” or people who work in factories to surface and take action on the things that they observe? If you don’t provide the tools for that and enable that, then you have the danger of 1) the signal for innovation not reaching the source 2) the signal being transformed on the way to the source. A signal loss can change the idea entirely and alter the impact of the innovation.

Slack messages should be considered asynchronous communication, and you should not expect an instantaneous response; you have no idea what the other person is doing.

If you must send a work-related private message, don't start a conversation with "Hi" or "Hey" as that interrupts their work without communicating anything. If you have a quick question, just ask the question directly
