Asian culture values education which I believe was implanted through their long history. The learned the lesson that to survive, to live better live, to have ore power, they need higher degree. It is such good question to think that maybe other culture that do not have this ideology build in will be disadvantaged.

This flattening of a complex narrative of identity is what leads to dehumanization. So important for teachers, (and thereby teacher educators) to emphasize the nuances inherent in any cultural group—intra-group diversity as well as inter-group diversity.

This article initially caught my eye because it originated from an institution in Taiwan and was published by a British journal. I was intrigued by the chance to read an international perspective on constructivist instruction.
