Derailed climate action: Mr. Trump will almost certainly withdraw again from the 2015Paris Climate Agreement, dismantle domestic climate and environmental regulations(particularly those seen to hamper the fossil fuel industry), and actively oppose atransition to green energy.
for - question - Study on 2024 Trump win on polycrisis - Cascade Institute - why is there such a small analysis on the environment and especially planetary tipping points whilst climate clock is ticking?

adaptation is underfinanced. The gap is:
- 194 billion / year
- 366 billion / year by 2030
- climate change increases transboundary issues
- need transboundary agreements but these are absent
- conflicts and migration are a result of such transboundary climate impacts
- people are increasing climate impacts to try to survive due to existing climate impacts

- we calculate a need of a speed up of a factor of 7 to shut down greenhouse gas emissions and that is done through positive tipping points.

quote
- key point
- the things that the overwhelming majority of people support are not on the political agenda
- which is why this whole the idea that there is a center in politics is a complete fiction
- Elite consensus opinion is almost always massively in the minority
- and so you have to work very hard to prevent things which are massively in the majority from getting political expression
- Polling between 2/3 and 3/4 of people support (including generally speaking the majority of people who voted in the last election support) things like
- public ownership of
- energy
- water
- rail
- mail, etc
- a 15 pound an hour minimum wage
- a wealth tax
- public ownership of
- the things that the overwhelming majority of people support are not on the political agenda
- All of these things considered way way on the left are not on the left, that's actually the center if you're talking about where is the mainstream British public opinion - and it's such strong public opinion because no one ever says it in the public sphere and when they do they are ridiculed

Even though I commented earlier i have to side with Chris. A ZK is best suited for argumentative and essay like work, not creative one like poetry.Maybe this is something that we need to discuss as a community as hole: it’s seems that a lot of people try to fit their needs to a system that (in my opinion) it’s neither intended or works for those kinds of projects.

Though depending on your needs and desires, you can really do both to effectuate the outcomes you'd like to have. The secret is knowing which affordances, structures, and methods suit your desired outcomes. (Of course if you're going to dump your box out and do massive rearrangements or take large portions out and want to refile them for other needs, then you're going to have to give them numbers and do that re-filing work.)
I've seen snippets of saved language in Thoreau's journal (commonplace) which were re-used in other parts of his journal which ultimately ended up in a published work. As he didn't seem to have a significant index, one can only guess that he used occasional browsing or random happenstance delving into it to have moved it from one place to another.
As ever, what do you need and what will best get you there?

Approaching this project, I felt committed to writing a story that could stand on its own; a story that achieved the same things I want ANY of my stories to achieve; a story to which the response might be not, “I see what you did there”, but: “I loved this!”
"I see what you did there" as a genre of writing is interesting for its cleverness, but many authors will prefer readers to love their work instead of admiring their cleverness in one part.

This comment makes the classic mistake of mixing up the universal quantifier ("for all X") and the existential quantifier ("there exists [at least one] X"), when (although neither are used), the only thing implied is the latter.

What the average teen is like doesn't compromise Stallman's position. If one "gamer" (is that a taxonomic class?) follows through, then that's perfectly in line with Stallman's mission and the previously avowed position that "Saying No to unjust computing even once is help".

fexe+el (fexe) v. -- search/seek by all means.
ba -- the (?).
kër gi -- house; family.
gi -- the (indicates nearness).
bañ v. -- refuse, resist, refuse to; to hate; verb marking the negation in subordinate clauses.
ñàkk v. / ñàkk bi -- vaccinate / vaccine (not sure exactly how this fits in the sentence if it's even the right translation -- perhaps it has to do with surgical alcohol rather than drinking alcohol).
alkol ji -- (French) surgical alcohol. (I'm certain this is also used for the type of alcohol you drink -- but sangara is probably the most used term).

Not all cases can be covered and easily restored. And sometimes when we will reuse this function for different use-cases we will find out that it requires different restore logic.
-
But why do we return 0? Why not 1? Why not None? And while None in most cases is as bad (or even worse) than the exceptions, turns out we should heavily rely on business logic and use-cases of this function.
-
So, the sad conclusion is: all problems must be resolved individually depending on a specific usage context. There’s no silver bullet to resolve all ZeroDivisionErrors once and for all. And again, I am not even covering complex IO flows with retry policies and expotential timeouts.

Matz, alas, I cannot offer one. You see, Ruby--coding generally--is just a hobby for me. I spend a fair bit of time answering Ruby questions on SO and would have reached for this method on many occasions had it been available. Perhaps readers with development experience (everybody but me?) could reflect on whether this method would have been useful in projects they've worked on.

by these elucidations given rise or increase to his doubts, and drawn obscurity upon the place
Following Dr. Rivers's postmodern note, this reminds me of our discussion in class related to Nietzsche, how we're so often trained to assume that the text means something other than the text itself, and we search for the "true" meaning buried underneath the text, perhaps in the author's subconscious. I'm reminded to of a comment made in Dr. Johnston's poetry class, that we as critics don't spend enough time on simply characterizing texts; in place of depth arrived at through analysis, we should strive for complexity in our attempt to take the words on the page at their word.
