Indtil nu har artiklen beskrevet hvilke delprocesserder indg˚ar i digital signatur, men ikke begrundet at delprocesserne giver detønskede resultat. Det nye fokus gælder i resten af afsnit 2.

    1. Then the other answered again, “Sir Gawain, so may I thrive as I am fain to take this buffet at thine hand,” and he quoth further, “Sir Gawain, it liketh me well that I shall take at thy fist that which I have asked here, and thou hast readily and truly rehearsed all the covenant that I asked of the king, save that thou shalt swear me, by thy troth, to seek me thyself wherever thou hopest that I may be found, and win thee such reward as thou dealest me to-day, before this folk.”

The Green Knight shows his excitement to take the hit from Sir Gawain's hand in response to his wanting to take on the challenge. This implies a feeling of loyalty and willingness to carry out their end of the bargain. But then the Green Knight secretly changes the terms of the first agreement struck with King Arthur by adding a new condition to their agreement. The Green Knight adds a sense of mystery as well as potential risk for Gawain when he asks him to vow on his honor to find him later and offer a prize equal to the one he received today.

    1. This reveals that we have the capacity for sustained attention, but persistence is best understood as a disposition, not a capacity. The triadic model of dispositions allows us to understand better what is going on here. A behaviour becomes a disposition when we combine the capabilities it demands with the desire to use them and an awareness of situations where the behaviour is appropriate.

I guess it depends on what a "disposition" is too. One definition is "a person's inherent qualities of mind and character." But if it's inherent, then it's not something that emerges from behaviours in the right circumstances.

F or now, y ou should k eep in mind that when a higher court affirms it means that the lower court had it right (in result, if not in reasoning). 1. Let the boy be given to me whom praise stimulates, whom honor delights, who weeps when he is unsuccessful. His powers must be cultivated under the influence of ambition; reproach will sting him to the quick; honor will incite him; and in such a boy I shall never be apprehensive of indifference.
