With visionary leadership and ambitious goals, the UAE has positioned itself at the forefront of the sustainability movement, recognizing the intrinsic link between environmental preservation and long-term economic prosperity.
In recent years, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has emerged as a global leader in sustainable development, embarking on a transformative journey towards environmental stewardship and economic diversification.
Junk Removal companies also play a pivotal role in the UAE's sustainability equation by providing essential waste management services that promote resource recovery and recycling. By responsibly disposing of unwanted items and recyclable materials, these companies help divert waste from landfills and minimize environmental pollution, contributing to a cleaner, healthier environment.

Cleanup over sign-off As discussed in Sid's interview on iteration, waiting for approval can slow things down. We can prevent this with automation (e.g. tests of database migration performance) or clean-up after the fact (refactor a Pajamas if something was added that isn't coherent), but we try to ensure people don't need to wait for signoff.
-
Make two-way door decisions Most decisions are easy to reverse, have the directly responsible individual make them without approval. As Jeff Bezos describes only when you can't reverse them should there be a more thorough discussion.
-
No need to brainstorm, wait for consensus, or do with two what you can do yourself.
-
At GitLab, "no ego" means that we foster and support an environment where results matter, and you're given agency to approach your work in the way that makes sense to you. Instead of judging people for not approaching work in an agreed-upon way, "no ego" encourages people to glean inspiration from watching others approach work in new and different ways.
-
At GitLab we should be more accepting of people taking initiative in trying to improve things.

Neither my ASD and ADHD are as much of an impact on me now than it was several years ago, but I still carry some of the symptoms of it (Stuttering, repetitive movements, etc.), none of it being life threatening of course. The big turning point for me was when I met two game developers from Wargaming.net, as they have talked to me about their jobs and what I need to do in order to do their jobs well
I have nothing but respect for how you take the initiative in not letting your affliction affect you and your everyday life, avoiding the role of a sort of roadblock that they have the potential of becoming.

Promote a biocentric instead of and anthropocentric paradigms.
Biocentric includes man and includes him in an appropriately prioritized order. An anthropocentric view should be a biocentric, ecocentric, charitable, human view simply because humans are (among other things) organisms, situated in ecosystems, capable of charity, love, humility and that is in fact what makes us human. What is best for the environment is what is best for humans and everything else.

Ecocide
Interesting idea. The only thing is that the science is not where we would like it to be. Most of the accusing will need to be done in retrospect. In that case, many will have lost culpability due to insufficient knowledge. I just wonder how this will hold up in a court of law for most practical cases. For some large-scale cases, I can see it working, as long as the effects are enormous.

Land defenders are dying but the news don’t talk about this. Most of media and politics are owned by companies so, we have to force them to serve the people instead. We can’t depend on these guys.
We need to recognize different values and think that people value land entitlements, family and community, the elderly, connectivity. If we value these, we will want to hear these things reported all the time. Marketing will follow suit. Perhaps marketing will be the first to move...
