This article discusses the need for American universities to help International students get integrated into their communities. This quote specifically mentions students from China and Saudi Arabia (where most of my students are from).

This article is credible and has some good information about the topic in general, but it doesn't discuss the topic of technology integration. I was hoping that would be one of the solutions or at least topics in this article. Rating: 6/10

This is an anachronism. That the storied Rothschild family had not yet established a widespread business network across Europe in the period Benito Cereno is set. This didn't develop until the first decades of the 19th century; by Melville's time, the family had become a well-known economic powerhouse. Either Melville never bothered to fact check such small details, or else he didn't mind bending the truth a bit in the service of art.

A brief history of the family business from the Rothschild Archive: "Mayer Amschel Rothschild was born in 1744 in the Judengasse, in Frankfurt. His father had a business in goods-trading and currency exchange. He was a personal supplier of collectable coins to the Prince of Hesse. Working for CBC?

No. I was not "working for" CBC, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. I was funded by CBC to fly back from New Zealand to Rarotonga as a public source for a CBC story. On offshore banking, and the background to offshore banking in the Cook Islands.

My impression? They needed a local "talking head" to illustrate their story, safely. Having gained footage of what they were interested in, the CBC reporter leading the story has rejected my own story about offshore banking.

Good enough to be a CBC headline source, but not good enough to be a CBC investigative source.

The situation with North Korea seems to be getting worse.

This article initially caught my eye because it originated from an institution in Taiwan and was published by a British journal. I was intrigued by the chance to read an international perspective on constructivist instruction.
