According to PEN America, a nonprofit dedicated to protecting free expression, legislatures in 36 states have proposed 137 bills that would limit teaching about race, gender and American history.
I would argue that there is a fair amount of cognitive dissonance present on the side introducing these bills. Their lived experience and perception of themselves conflicts with the reality that they are white supremacists and are actively suppressing BIPOC history in an effort to reconcile their perceptions of how they live.

In the Containers pane, expand all nodes of the package container hierarchy, and then clear all check boxes, including the Extract Sample Currency Data check box. Now select the check box for Extract Sample Currency Data to get only the events for this node.
When I completed this step, the nodes of the package container hierarchy did not have checkboxes. Also, the Extract Sample Currency Data checkbox did not respond to my clicks.
There was a message to clear the parent, but since the parent had no checkbox, I was unable to do so.
Drilling down resulted in checkboxes that "appear dimmed" as in the note below.
This appears to be a bug or at least a lapse in the documentation.
EDIT: We found a work-around. You can highlight the checkbox and tick it with the spacebar - but you can't select it with the mouse.
On the Lesson 3 root node, under Select the logs to use for the container: I was able to select the checkbox.
When I navigate deeper though, this option is unchecked and muted or grayed out with a message at the bottom reading:
"⚠️ To configure unique logging options for this container, enable logging for it in the tree view."

My question is how can we educate the current promoters from the rural areas to use technology ? we have in the pdf some recommendations and takeaways to help unlock the innovation potential of rural regions by rebuilding the scope of policies and programmes for innovation but since the 1st Edinburgh reunion the real areas are becoming each day with less people due to job opportunities.
They also propose alternative indicators beyond the traditional science and technology measures to better capture innovative practices. Should also be ver interesting to analyze the profile of startups and entrepreneurs that choose to invest and develop their services and products in rural areas...maybe if they use the quality of life and of well-being to bring digital nomads to the rural areas could boost the local community in terms of tech information.
At the very end in my modest opinion this is a political statement and we all should think with fiscal benefits to attract young innovators or entrepreneurs to invest in rural areas, taking in consideration that they need access to in terms of roads, airports etc. In a small country like Portugal this should be in a tier1 priority. example : ponta do sol in madeira - rural area in Madeira with a big community of digital nomads focusing in well being and developing their companies via Madeira.

Autor wymienia 12 podstawowych reguł Zettelkasten, jednakże powiela tym samym mity na temat tej metody.
- "Atomowość" notatek - notatki wcale nie muszą być atomowe.
- Autonomiczność notatek - notatki wcale nie muszą być autonomiczne.
- Obowiązkowe linkowanie - notatki mogą być ze sobą powiązane również kategorią, w której się znajdują lub kolejnością, w jakiej występują.
- Wyjaśnianie linkowania - nie ma potrzeby każdorazowego tłumaczenia, dlaczego łączy się notatki. Jeśli notatki są zrozumiałe same z siebie, w wielu przypadkach ich połączenie również jest zrozumiałe.
- Pisanie własnymi słowami - zapisywanie cytatów, czy kopiowanie jest jak najbardziej dozwolone, trzeba tylko robić to umiejętnie.
- Przypisy i źródła - jeśli notatka jest oparta na źródle, to oczywiste, w przeciwnym razie nie jest to niezbędne.
- Dodawanie własnych przemyśleń - na tym polega idea notowania, jest to więc banalne stwierdzenie.
- Nie przejmuj się strukturą - i tak i nie. Struktura nie jest nadrzędną zasadą, jednak warto mieć ją na uwadze, ponieważ pozwala organizować notatki i je potem odnajdywać.
- Notatki łączące - to oczywista praktyka, zatem to nic szczególnego.
- Notatki indeksowe - notatki ze spisem tematów, czy zarysem i tak dalej, to także dość oczywiste.
- Nie usuwaj notatek - to akurat dobra rada, która jednak wynika też z tego, że notatki posiadają swoje miejsce w katalogu i indeksie, zatem ich usuwanie powodowałoby powstawanie pustych miejsc.
- Dodawaj notatki bez obaw - cóż, odrobina motywacji na koniec nie zaszkodzi, ale czy to jakaś istotna zasada, nie wiem.
